News: We are pleased to inform you that the deadline for the submission of the contributions you submitted at ‘NIRITALIA online, waiting for Slovenia 2020’ for publication in the Special Issue of the international ISI JNIRS – Journal of NIR Spectroscopy has been postponed to 30 September 2021!
On 24-25 February 2021, the Symposium took place, attracting more than 100 participants from 13 countries. You can take take a look at the abstracts in English and Italian in the Book of abstracts, while the video presentations will be uploaded shortly. Hope to see you face to face in Slovenia in 2022!
Recently, SISNIR announced its 2020 Symposium will be held online. We are positive that the NIRITALIA online, waiting for Slovenia 2022 will be a great experience for everyone. In the past weeks, we have brainstormed solutions to ensure a smooth transition to a digital conference. Many aspects of our traditional conference will be maintained.
For publication in the official program and Proceedings of the Congress, it is necessary that at least one of the authors registers by 30 January 2021.

The Italian Society for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (SISNIR), in collaboration with the InnoRenew CoE and University of Primorska, is pleased to announce the next National Symposium of NIR Spectroscopy.
Following the health emergency that continues to affect Europe and the whole world, SISNIR decided to postpone the NIRItalia Symposium to 2022.
In the meantime, we decided to organize an event entitled ‘NIRITALIA online, waiting for Slovenia 2022‘, which will be an important opportunity to see each other virtually, present works, and exchange ideas, opinions and future perspectives.
We would like to inform you that ‘NIRITALIA online, waiting for Slovenia 2022’ will take place on the same dates previously established for the Symposium (24 and 25 February 2021) and that it will be free for all SISNIR Members. Participation in the event by non-members will be possible after payment of a registration fee of 20 Euros.
Due to the recent situation, we will not offer pre-courses and post-conference tours for participants.
Authors of accepted abstracts can present them during the on-line event. Those who wish to modify their content are requested to withdraw the abstract and submit it again. Those who do not want to join the on-line conference can withdraw their contributions. We plan to stream pre-recorded presentations. More information and instructions for presenters will be provided soon.
We are looking forward to seeing you virtually in February 2021 and hope to meet you in person in 2022.
