Oral presentations

The predicted time of oral presentations is 12 minutes + 3 minutes for discussion.

Authors of oral presentations are required to prepare slides in English in order to facilitate the understanding of non-Italian participants.

Poster presentations

At least one author for each poster must be present and give a 3-minutes long flash talk about their work. The discussion will take place in front of the poster.

Please draft posters in English in order to facilitate the understanding of non-Italian participants.

The nominal space for each poster is 70 × 100 cm (width x height). Posting material (double-sided tape and drawing pins) will be provided on-site.

The choice of presentation (oral or poster) must be specified in the submission form. Those who choose oral presentation must also indicate the topic of reference. Due to the limited number of oral communications, authors, at the discretion of the Scientific Committee, may be invited to change the status of their presentation from oral to poster.

Abstract drafting

The Symposiums’ official language is Italian; however, to give international visibility to the scientific contents, which will be published online, abstracts must be written in two languages, Italian and English, and sent by 15 December 2020.

The maximum length of the abstract is fixed for each of the two languages at 300 words. Abstracts must occupy at most one A4 page for each of the two languages (total = max 2 pages), including bibliographical references, as shown in the template.

To facilitate management of the scientific contributions, please name your file as follows:

Surname_oral.doc or Surname_poster.doc (Example: Bianchi_poster.doc)

Download the abstract template

After examination by the Scientific Committee, formal acceptance of the contributions will be given. For publication in the official program and Proceedings of the Congress (with ISBN), it is necessary that at least one of the authors register by 15 January 2021.
