The Italian Society for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (SISNIR), in collaboration with the InnoRenew CoE and University of Primorska, is pleased to announce that the 9th National Symposium of NIR Spectroscopy (NIRITALIA 2020) will be held from 27 to 28 May 2020.

For the first time in the history of SISNIR, the biennial National Symposium (a reference event in Italy for all professionals working with NIR spectroscopy) will be held in the halls of the University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia).

A day before the Symposium (26 May), Pre-courses on Hyperspectral Imaging, Chemometrics, and equipment hands-on training will be available.

The 9th National Symposium will bring together important players from the world of research and industry and allow them to socialize thanks to events designed to create productive networks of collaboration:

trip by boat to the gala dinner at a restaurant in Piran (27 May), and
visit to the Škocjan Caves, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (29 May).

With regard,

Monica Casale
President of SISNIR
