For the first time since its beginnings, the biennial National Symposium of NIR Spectroscopy will be held in Slovenia, a small, but nevertheless beautiful, country with a population of 2 million people spread across 20.000 km2. The conference will take place 24-25 February 2021 at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Primorska (Titov trg 5, 6000 Koper, Slovenia) in the charming Mediterranean town of Koper, the largest coastal town in Slovenia, which can still be easily covered on foot, located about five kilometers from the border with Italy.

Koper will welcome you with its warm climate, calming sea waves, and picturesque streets. The town connects the Adriatic Sea with the dynamic Karst Region, city vibes with natural surroundings and old Venetian-era architecture with new tourist infrastructure. Together with the neighboring cities of Ankaran, Izola, and Piran, it offers appetizing food, lively entertainment, and relaxing beaches.
